Step 2 Vision Mission Values
Welcome to step 2 of Build a Solid Base for your Nonprofit! In this step, you will design your vision, mission, value statement. Do this with everyone who is interested to help with setting up your nonprofit. Make sure everyone has a notebook and a copy of the worksheet that you can download on this page.
Watch the video and move to the worksheet to answer the questions there. Do this for yourself, individually, first. Then share with the others and discuss, followed by individual work again as outlined in the worksheet.
Have you formulated your vision, mission, value statement? Have you looked at some examples for inspiration? Have you interviewed ten to fifteen people from your target group and validated your ideas with them? Have you used their words in your final version? Then you are ready for the next step: outlining your Strategic Directions for the next two to three years!
