“Yeah right”, you say. Maybe, the last time you tried talking to someone:
… they were busy
… they gave me advice that turned out to be wrong for our situation
… the issue was too sensitive to share with an outsider
… I felt like people may not take my organization seriously if they know the things I worry about
… I did not really even have time to go out for a coffee with them
I know. I’ve been in your shoes. And I know you cannot talk to people in your own team about everything. (This is still the case for me in some of my assignments).
Being a director or founder of a nonprofit can be a lonely role to have. You want to work on the vision and mission of the organization but instead you’re stuck with finance, contracting, HR, procurement and more.
It was never your dream to spend your time on all that.
You know you don’t have expertise in most of these areas and it stresses you out that you might make a small mistake and it could have serious consequences for your nonprofit.
Wouldn’t it be great if you could have a colleague that you could easily talk to?
Someone you can reach out to at any time? Someone who knows what you’re going through and who can help you figure out what to do and how to do it?

The Nonprofit Management Confidence Club
Leading a nonprofit team is a lonely job.
You’re fully dedicated to your organization every hour of the day. You want to get it right. You want to make change happen. And serve your community or cause.
But you also want to safeguard the organization and take good care of the people in it. And that seems to lead to questions all day long.
Some are big and scary. Others look small – and can have a huge impact. So, how can you be sure which is which? How do you even handle all of these things?
“Do I make this exception on our leave policy now? What’s next if I do?”
“How do I get the attention of the donor to the fact that we are still waiting for their decision?”
“Our next year plans will be impacted if the donor rejects our proposal. It’s making me very nervous, what can I do?”
“This email from my donor – I’m not sure what it means. How can I respond?”
“The donor wants to see a policy of some sort. We don’t have that. How can I create one quickly? Or is that crazy?”
“I think this volunteer isn’t really doing what they promised to do. How can I bring that up without upsetting them? If they leave, this work will not be done!”
The list is endless…
There isn’t anyone in your team with this kind of expertise.
And you’ve got no time to go out and find someone to talk to, right?
It’s overwhelming.

For that sort of moment you want to have a nonprofit management peer, a friend, that you can ask for advice. Very simply. With a quick message. You don’t want to set up an appointment. Or join a session. Or read a book. Or Google.
Just ask the question and get an answer.
Right?
If that’s you, then the Nonprofit Management Confidence Club is for you!
-
Our Club is open for your questions any time.
-
We’ll respond as soon as we can.
-
If you send me a private question, I’ll answer it to you and make an answer available to the Club with anonymity if that’s needed.
-
All my answers will be quick video or audio files that you can download.
-
All videos and audio files are fully searchable on the Club platform in case you want to listen to something again and did not download it yet (or cannot find your download).
-
If one type of question appears a lot, I’ll organize a format, template, example, checklist or a training session to go a bit deeper into the topic.
-
We’ll have co-working sessions, so we can feel together even if we’re apart and working on different things.
-
… and whatever else is needed. We can build this Club to meet our needs.

All this, to make sure you can get quick advice from people who know what you’re facing. People who know what they’re talking about as they are in a leadership position in a nonprofit, too. (Yes, that includes ME)
Never feel alone again, with your group of confidants in your pocket, in your phone!
Sooooo that’s why I created the Nonprofit Management Confidence Club. For you. And for me. And for all our nonprofit peers!
The Nonprofit Management Confidence Club is a space for nonprofit leaders, managers, and founders, where you can be yourself. You can share your questions, fears and dilemmas. (And yes, we’re also here to help celebrate your successes and achievements!)
